The Matriarch NEIPA | 6.5% | New England | She may look like your mum on a big night out but the Matriarch is much more than meets the eye: a sheep dressed up in lambs clothing, slightly hazy and all foam on top. The juiciest rumours surround her life but they pale in comparison to the truth. She’s generous with her perfume like this brew is with aromas of citrus, pineapple and stone fruit. She should be bitter from all she’s seen and done, but instead she is a fresh, hopped up juicy number that’s full bodied in every sense of the word. |
The Henchman | 6.8% | West Coast | Henchman are a dime a dozen, countless unnamed characters killed off, but not this guy. Hailing from the West Coast, he’s old school! First up hitting you in the face with a classic one two punch of pine and citrus aromas. When this guy fronts up, you better step aside just like the malt does in this beer. Clearing the way for a whack of pine, dank tropical fruits and citrus flavours hitting you where it counts. He leaves his mark on your pallet with a lingering dry, bitter, thirst-quenching finish you won’t forget. |
The Editor | 4.8% | Fruit | Mild mannered reporter by ‘Day’ and independent beer crusader by night, The Editor works hard to expose the truth. Using her words as her weapons, she cuts you on the editing room floor not on the street. While the chaos around her does its best to sour her view, her passion for journalism marches on. The complex, juicy flavours of a story always come out in the end, just like in this delightfully tropical Froth |
The Salesman | 5.0% | XPA | “Amarillo! Centennial! Citra! You need it? I got it! I got the juiciest hops in town! Megalo juicy! You pay cash...Special deal...Just for you.” You can hear the familiar accent in your head. No one is sure how legit he is but he always makes a sale, like this extra pale ale won’t fail you. A tantalising offering of orange, citrus and passionfruit gets you through the door to the tropical flavours inside. A malt bill cleaner than his damask lounge suites allow the hops to shine. This pale golden drop finishes dry, guaranteeing satisfaction. |
